The Luxury Homes Market begins at the bottom price of $500,000 for a residential home across the country.  Now, that does not necessarily mean that the Luxury Market begins at the $500,000 mark everywhere.  It would be hard to imagine purchasing anything much larger than a one bedroom apartment for $500,000 in Manhattan, New York.  In every market, the Luxury price point is the top ten percent of the market but never less than the $500,000 price point.

Day two of the new year and one smart seller has set himself up for Success!


Today I received a call from one seller that I have been speaking with for two months about his for sale by owner home and he is ready to list his home.  Of course there were a few small details about the contract that we had to iron out, which we did, and now it is a matter of him meeting me at the property to review the details on how to access the property.  His home will be a beautiful Redlands Luxury Home for Sale, very soon.

 

It is a a great way to start the new year!
So now the work begins, here are a few of the details that I have begun to set in place for the marketing of this property

  • Review & confirm our 14 Point Marketing Plan, tailoring it to this specific property.
  • Confirm with the local High-End Real Estate Magazine deadlines and availability for the cover page.
  • Review dates for upcoming Broker’s Open House.
  • Schedule photographer for photo shoot.
  • Schedule Home Stager consultation.

Friends of the A.K. Smiley Public Library Holiday Book Sale is this weekend!

Looking for something fun to do this weekend?  Your Inland Empire Weekend Events should include the beloved A.K. Smiley Public Library in Redlands.  The Friends of the Library are having their Annual Holiday Book Sale this weekend featuring children’s books, puzzles, games and activity books.  The hope is that shoppers will consider the gift of a good quality book for a child or give the gift of a book when searching through the many books for adults, and don’t forget gifting a book to yourself!

The sale runs from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Saturday and from 1p.m to 4 p.m. on Sunday.  Books cost $6 on Friday, $5 on Saturday and $4 on Sunday, by far a great deal for any of the many Inland Empire Weekend Events.

The event will be held in the library’s Assembly Room located at 125 W. Vine St. Redlands, plenty of parking.

Friends of the Library is membership driven and dues range from $5.00 to $1,000, but any amount is acceptable.  Volunteers are needed in the bookstore and for events like the Holiday Book Sale.

The library began serving the City of Redlands in 1894 and was dedicated on April 29, 1898.  In 1976, it was listed in the National Register of Historic Places and has been dedicated as a State Historic Landmark since 1990.

The library focuses on Young Readers, Adult Literacy and preserving local history with it’s Heritage Room that houses houses collections and archives much of the ongoing history of Redlands and Southern California.
